Lincoln, NE – The Lincoln Children’s Museum and Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity are proud to present Music at the Museum, a unique and exciting event for children to learn about different instruments and enjoy live performances by student musicians from Lincoln Public Schools. The event will take place on Saturday, April 22nd from 10am to 12pm at the Lincoln Children’s Museum located at 1420 P Street in Lincoln.
Music at the Museum will be two hours filled with musical exploration and fun for kids of all ages. The highlight of the event will be the instrument petting zoo, where kids can get up close and personal with various musical instruments along with live performances by student musicians from Lincoln Public Schools, showcasing their skills and entertaining the young audience with their music.
“We are thrilled to partner with Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity to bring Music at the Museum to the Lincoln Children’s Museum,” said Tara Knuth, Executive Director of Lincoln Children’s Museum. “This event is a perfect blend of education and entertainment, providing kids with an engaging and interactive experience to learn about music and instruments.”
Krista Vazquez-Connelly, DMA, President of the Sigma Alpha Iota chapter, expressed her excitement about the event, stating, “Music education is a positive force in the lives of Lincoln’s youth. We are proud to partner with the Museum to offer these opportunities for exploration and performance experience in a fun and interactive way once again this year.”
Music at the Museum is free for members of Lincoln Children’s Museum and is included with regular admission. It is a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy a day of music-filled fun and learning.
