Guaranteed to be full of play and learning, a variety of fun-filled camps and workshops are offered during the summer as well as when LPS is out of session during the school year.

Join us for one day, one week, multiple weeks, or all summer long…Camp Play is a place where we can all belong!  With unique themes that are sure to excite, our time together is sure to be bright.  So pick your dates and sign up today, your kids will cheer and shout hooray!!

We take our camp responsibility seriously…the responsibility to provide a safe, healthy, and FUN environment where you kids can jive and thrive from the moment they arrive.

Add on a meal from Kazoo's U-Stop Cafe for $5.50! Options include Valentino's pizza, chicken or vegan tenders, mini corn dogs, hummus or guac and crackers/chips.
Each meal includes a drink, dessert and side item.

If not adding on a meal from Kazoo’s U-STOP Cafe, campers should bring a sack lunch. No nuts!

Ages:

Spring and Fall Camps + 1/2 Day Workshops: Kindergarten – 3rd grade 

Summer Camps: Must be entering grades 1st – 3rd for the 2024-2025 school year

(Must be able to use bathroom independently with no regular accident incidents).

Available Times:
Full Day Camps: 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

1/2 Day Workshops: 8:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

Thank you for your interest in a scholarship to one of Lincoln Children’s Museum week-long summer camps. 

Thanks to a generous donation from the Johnny Carson Foundation, the application for the Summer of 2024 is available. 

Qualifications: 

Applicant families must meet one of the following criteria in addition to meeting the age requirement for LCM summer camps (must be entering grades 1st-3rd for the 2024-2025 school year). 

LCM reserves the right to request and audit financial documents on claims made about eligibility on the scholarship application. Households unwilling to submit information will be denied scholarship funds. 

  • Your family is eligible for the school-based Free or Reduced Lunch Program 
  • Your family qualifies for SNAP/EBT/WIC benefits 
  • Your family’s house income is under 250% of the federal poverty level (use the chart below)

Timeline:  

Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis, first-come, first-served while funds remain. 

Once a scholarship application is submitted, caretakers will be contacted within 7 business days on award status. 

 

Scholarship Information: 

Each child accepted will receive one (1) weeklong scholarship that covers the LCM program registration fee and five (5) hot lunches to be used during the awarded week. Scholarships will be applied to registrations by the Museum and no transfer of funds will take place. 

We know that each family’s plans during the summer look different. Because of this, each household can preference up to three different weeks for registration consideration. Preferred dates are not guaranteed based on rolling enrollment policies. Any scholarships awarded that households wish not to accept/are unable to use because of scheduling will be forfeited for the 2024 summer season. No funds will be saved/rolled over to future programs.
