lcm little learners
Little Learners at the Lincoln Children’s Museum is a weekly education program designed specifically for children ages 2-4 years old with a caregiver.
Each program session lasts six weeks long, with activities valuing
the whole child to support healthy bodies and minds.
Registration is required.
Weekly one-hour sessions are rooted in play showcasing music, art, and creativity, along with social interaction for young children and time for play in exhibits!
These educator-led sessions are an opportunity to strengthen each little one’s fine and gross motor skills as well as expose them to new experiences with children similar in age. Sample S.T.E.A.M. experiences include Big Ball Bounce, Spaghetti Stomp, and Secret Scents.
Each six-week program session is limited to 10 child/caregiver pairs. This allows participants to have special interaction with our educators and gives children and caregivers ample time and space to move through guided activities with ease.
Members: $105
Non-Members: $130
“Thank you so much for putting together such a fun and enriching program! Tayson and I had such a great time. He truly looked forward to “Little Learners” every week. Tayson is definitely my little cautious-observer, so I was excited to give him this chance to start slowly warming up to a preschool setting. . . he’s completely changed his outlook on teachers after this experience with you, Ms. Lillie, and Ms. Hope! So THANK YOU, to each of you, for your kindness and patience with him- it really made an impact.”
“Thank you so much for all the hard work the Museum crew put into the Little Learners Program. Sammy grew so much, thanks to your love, support and guidance.”
“Georgie (and his Grandparents) enjoyed every minute of Little Learners fall session!”
“I just wanted to send you a quick note to say what a great program this has been for our girl. She has loved every moment, grown so much, and been so proud and excited to come home and show me her projects/tell me what she learned. I thank you so much for everything that you’ve done for her – I appreciate you welcoming her with open arms.” -Becka W.
