Location, driving directions & parking
Welcome to Downtown Lincoln! When planning to visit the Lincoln Children’s Museum, we recommend parking in the Larson Building Parking Garage located at 1317 Q Street for the shortest walk to the Museum. The first hour of parking is free.
Handicap parking is available along P Street via street parking.
City parking is available around the Museum. Many meters can be paid with coins, credit card, or the Passport mobile app.

We recommend using Waze.com or of the Waze app for directions that include current road closures and detours in Downtown Lincoln.
All directions below are for the Larson Building Parking Garage.

Coming from the NORTH side of Lincoln
Option 1:
- Head south on I-180, merging onto 9th Street as you enter downtown Lincoln
- Turn left onto P Street
- Turn left onto 14th Street
- Turn left onto Q Street
- The Larson Parking Garage will be on the left side of the road, located on 1317 Q Street
- As you exit the parking garage, use the crosswalk for 14th Street, walk south to the corner of 14th and P Street, take a left by Wells Fargo, and the Museum’s main entrance will be 1/2 a block straight ahead.
Option 2:
- Head south on N Antelope Valley Parkway
- Turn right onto Q Street
The Larson Parking Garage will be on the left side of the road, located on 1317 Q Street - As you exit the parking garage, use the crosswalk for 14th Street, walk south to the corner of 14th and P Street, take a left by Wells Fargo, and the Museum’s main entrance will be 1/2 a block straight ahead.

Coming from the SOUTH side of Lincoln
Option 1:
- Head north on 10th Street
- Turn right on P Street
- Turn left onto 14th Street
- Turn left onto Q Street
- The Larson Parking Garage will be on the left side of the road, located on 1317 Q Street
- As you exit the parking garage, use the crosswalk for 14th Street, walk south to the corner of 14th and P Street, take a left by Wells Fargo, and the Museum’s main entrance will be 1/2 a block straight ahead.
Option 2:
- Head North on 17th Street
- Turn left on Q Street
- The Larson Parking Garage will be on the left side of the road, located on 1317 Q Street
- As you exit the parking garage, use the crosswalk for 14th Street, walk south to the corner of 14th and P Street, take a left by Wells Fargo, and the Museum’s main entrance will be 1/2 a block straight ahead.

Coming from the EAST side of Lincoln
- Head west on O Street
- Turn Right onto 17th Street
- Turn Left onto Q Street
- The Larson Parking Garage will be on the left side of the road, located on 1317 Q Street
- As you exit the parking garage, use the crosswalk for 14th Street, walk south to the corner of 14th and P Street, take a left by Wells Fargo, and the Museum’s main entrance will be 1/2 a block straight ahead.

- Head east on O Street to enter downtown Lincoln
- Turn left onto 14th Street
- Turn left onto Q Street
