The Lincoln Children’s Museum is where adventure takes place for children (and adults) of all ages!

The 23,000 sq. ft Museum engages a child’s sense of creativity, discovery, and play as they unlock new opportunities in every exhibit through experiential learning.

WEAPONS POLICY: The Lincoln Children’s Museum prohibits firearms, knives, or weapons of any kind.

NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED: Snacks, drinks, and more are available at Kazoo’s U-Stop Cafe located on the upper floor of the Museum.

VISITOR POLICY: Exhibits and programs are designed for children ages 0-12. For the safety and security of all guests, to enter the Museum your group must include an infant or child (ages 0-12) accompanied by a caretaker age 16 or older. We welcome individuals with disabilities who will benefit from our exhibits and programs.

All infants and children must be accompanied by their age 16+ caretaker for the entirety of the museum visit and at no point should children be left unattended.

If visiting the museum as a larger group, we require that a 1:5 adult to child/infant ratio is met for the visit.

Receive a discount of $2.50 per ticket (Group Size: 10-200*)

Chaperones: 1 adult per every 5 children

Reservations: Must be made at least two days in advance

*Includes adults and meant for families, for-profit organizations, those not affiliated with schools or daycares.

Guidelines for Your Visit

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children are not allowed to enter without an adult

Our Main Entrance is located on the south side of the building facing the Nebraska History Museum. This is the only way to enter the museum. 

During your visit, Museum staff members may take pictures or videos of visitors for marketing purposes. If you wish not to be photographed, please let the front desk know. 

Bathrooms are available on every floor of the Museum.

Food & Drink

Outside food and drinks are not allowed inside the Museum. We offer a variety of food and drink options at Kazoo’s U-STOP cafe located on the upper level. Snack options are also available at the Museum Toy Store next to the welcome desk.

Accessibility

A mother’s room is located on the Museum’s main level next to the Grow Zone exhibit for any privacy you desire with your little one. 

Mobility Assistive Devices are welcomed at the Lincoln Children’s Museum to allow everyone to take advantage of everything the Museum offers. 

Elevators are located on the east side of every level of the Museum. 

Sensory Backpacks are available for checkout at the welcome desk. Leave a form of identification to check out and check back in at the end of your visit. The backpack includes noise-canceling headphones, fidgets, books, and more.

Kazoo’s U-Stop Café

Fuel your big adventure by grabbing a snack at Kazoo’s U-Stop Café! Located on the upper floor near the airplane, The Café is serving up à la carte eats perfect for the whole family.

In partnership with U-Stop Shops, you can enjoy crowd-pleasers like chicken nuggets, hamburger or cheese pizza, and pretzel bites along with vegetarian options too! There’s something yummy for everyone. Pair it with a favorite drink to make it a meal.

Just want a small snack? A variety of kid-favorite crackers, chips and candies are available as well.

The Lincoln Children’s Museum is located in Downtown Lincoln, NE at 1420 P St.

City parking is available around the Museum. Many meters can be paid with coins, credit card, or the Passport mobile app. There are also two city parking garages located less than a block from the Museum: University Square at 101 N. 14th St. or the Larson Building at 1317 Q St.The first hour of parking is free in the parking garages.
