Day Camp – Across the Desert

Guaranteed to be full of play and learning, our fun-filled camps are offered when LPS is out of session during the school year! Available for children in grades rising K-4. 

Join us on April 7 for a school-out CAMP PLAY! day: “Across the Desert” 

We’re headed to the desert for this day camp! We’ll take a look at the desert’s climate along with desert animals and their habitats, plus explore a variety of nature topics through hands-on activities and experiments. 

Themed activities and play time will include exhibit floor time where public visitors may be present.    

Schedule: 

Check-In: 8:00am – 8:30am 

Check-Out: 4:00pm-4:30pm   

Day Camp Pricing: Member $48/ Non-Member $63 

Add a meal from our Kazoo’s U-STOP Café for $5.50! Includes an entrée, side of chips or crackers, Oreo cookies and drink. Select “attendee + lunch” price option at registration. 

Masks optional but highly encouraged for campers and staff. 

If a family must cancel due to mandated quarantine period, a refund will be provided. Otherwise, all program fees are nonrefundable.
